Thesis Statement:
“Space’, loss
of ownership, breaking the walls of isolation and getting back to its original
essence.”
Abstract:
Dramatically changes
happen in society from last decades where communal spaces are losing their
ownership and essence. Can a communal space still support society in these
modern times?
Space of my courtyard
used to have an evening tea for my whole family, and there surrounding space is
used by children for playing, so children were playing in the supervision of parents,
and it is guided play space, another example where old_mans used corners of
streets for gathering and providing sense of security to that street is now
part of insecurity. Example of playground where youngsters are active to achieve
physical activity is becoming a part of digital world. Parks were used as
breathing space between dwellings but now it’s becoming a part of isolation
from society. In rural context spaces like bethak, Autaq, kachehri and hujra also
were used for resolving issues of society.
Since individualism born we are getting
isolation from family and creating boundaries between generations. Spaces are
being threatened by loss of ownership by communal groups.
Can there be a recreation of broad scale community spaces in
a modern urban context that incorporates both the strengths of tradition and
modernity?

Proposal 3:
Thesis Statement:

Abstract:
Dramatically changes

essence. People prefer to get individual space rather than communal spaces.
Space of my courtyard
used to have an evening tea for my whole family, and there surrounding space is
used by children for playing, so children were playing in the supervision of parents,
and it is guided play space, since individualism born we are getting isolation
from family and creating boundaries between generations. Yet another example where
old_mans used corners of streets for gathering and providing sense of security
to that street is now part of insecurity. Example of playground where
youngsters are active to achieve physical activity is becoming a part of

becoming a part of isolation from society also Spaces are being threatened by
loss of ownership.
Example of spaces where
all society bring together in any social event is neglected now, spaces like (
bethak / Autaq / kachehri ) also were used for resolving issues of society, people
is now preferring to sit in home rather than going and attend or people are preferring to get
back and says ‘apna kia hay ye to us ka problem hay’. Spaces are being losing
there ownership.
As an architecture student My idea is to explore and investigate
the way I can help creating sense of ownership towards public spaces; that were
used as communal or interactive spaces ‘

Thesis Statement:
In developers sector providing
betterment in functional and antithetical aspects, focusing smart growth and
home industry in new developing societies.
Abstract:
There is a major aesthetically and functional problem in newly developing areas, these areas are mostly designing for low income people. To study the dialogue between architect and developers.
The thesis also looks new
construction of low cost housing from architecture student point of view to
discover how developers and architects may be the part of developing new
spaces, the aim is to consideration how developer can maintain low cost houses
with smart growth and providing business and live work facility to people who are
talented and have all the abilities to support home industry of Karachi which
help to grow local economy, providing them
to better living guidelines.

PROPOSAL(s)
INTRODUCTION:
Can a society be made
clean via an adept or architectural use of space, Can the society be attracted
back and unite by the religious or spiritual paradigm from which it can peruse
moral purification, thereby cleansing the root of corruption at a grass root
level?
Relationship between
self and society is based on two things: how to live in society and how to obey
the unseen power that the society exerts. Most if not all religions approve of
the humans to live within one society or another, in fact if one says that
there was humanity within humans already and all the religions did is guide it
in a specific direction, one would not be entirely wrong.
By the rule of thumb,
if a society is peaceful, the longevity of its residents will be assured, and
as per a closed loop, the residents are the ones who dictate whether the
society is peaceful or not, be they the majority or the educated and highly
responsible, depending upon the system of that society governance.
Like any clean
surface, the human mold is also prone to corruption with wear and
tear, and requires repetitive cleansing by one mean or another, some
people even argue that this sense of repetitive purification is in fact what
gave advent to religion to begin with, but the point remains that a human, as a
part of society is prone to aggressive acts and he will continue to fall under
the darkness more and more thereby disrupting the peace of the society unless
he is attracted to a fount for purification and be made clean of conscience,
thereby leading him to think happy, peaceful and pro-society thoughts.
As we
know need of social enlightenment and betterment increasing day by day, the
spiritual aspects are as more important as the material aspects, in Pakistan approximately
more then 75 % population recognized as believer of One God, has the potential
to support this country for its development and become a source of both social
and moral power.

Breaking The Walls:

TOPIC:
The SPACE, calls for betterment. Breaking the Walls
of IDLENESS, welcoming integration
of IDEALNESS, Guided by Purity, Reflecting Peace, Balance and Harmony in society.
THESIS STATEMENT:
The walls of any space defines boundaries, separation
and isolation, breaking the walls is the integration of society in to the space
or integration of new spaces within the space; brings inside out betterment in
society.
ABSTRACT:
The infinity of my idea is to explore the ways of
architecture can provide betterment in society. By the part of society where I grown
up and see and feel that some of the spaces are integrated in society are purposely
for inside out betterment for self and society. A place within society itself must
reflecting peace balance and harmony.
As a believer of a religion, I must have to inquire The
Blending of Divinity (purity concerns) with society to understand relativity of
space to human ~ human to space . By guiding principles of divinity
defines the paths to the worship space.
The study examine the factor affecting form and
functions of space with its social response in society, how integration and
addition of collective and comprehensive space in its surrounds that may
creates more effective social call.
Spaces always recognized by its creating expressions
that may be defining form and feeling of functionality, the idea of project is
to exploring and to creates facilities that caters everyone in society on
collectively to a single unified platform, and also interesting for those who
want to know real paths towards divinity and reality to understand how to play

TOPIC:
The SPACE, Guided by Purity, Reflecting Peace, Balance and Harmony in society.
THESIS
STATEMENT:
Tranquility is the quality or state of being tranquil; calmness; serenity.
Tranquility of space defines peace integration in society, the integration of new spaces
in terms of spirituality within the dense population; may bring peace and positive
change in society.
ABSTRACT:
From deeper side of idea is to explore the ways of
architecture can provide betterment in society; in terms of tranquility of the body, thoughts and consciousness on
the path to enlightenment, where interpretation of the word is typically
linked to engagement with the natural environment. By linking this idea to
spiritual enlightenment which is mostly remains unseen and directed towards
hidden paths, by searching and un hiding the unseen paths we may achieve the
lost connections between self and society. Tranquility of a body and soul with
positive thoughts and consciousness determines enlightens in society heading
towards true path.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
Investigation will find how space will define tranquility and
how it expresses human feeling of spirituality and how it can impact society. Case

انسان کا چاہے کسی ختہ سے تعلق ہو اس کی پید ا ئیش کے بعد جب وہ آنکھیں کھولتا ہے تو اپنے ارد گرد لوگوں اور مادی چیزوں کا ہجوم دیکھتا ہے ۔ جب ہوش سمبھالتا ہے تو وہ کسی ایک گروہ یا اردگرد مادی اشیاء کے شور میں خود کو رفتہ رفتہ حصہ دار سمجھتا ہے ، جسے ہم معاشر ہ کہتے ہیں۔

دنیا میں انسانیت کی ہی بقاء کے لیے مختلف مذاہب نے جنم لیے، ہر مذہب نے انہی دو چیزوں کی ترجمانی کی ہے۔
عباداتِ غیبی پہاڑوں، بیابانوں او ر جنگلوں میں کی جاتی تھی، مگر تاریخ گواہی دیتی ہے کہ وقت نے ان عبادات کا رخ آبادیوں کی جانب کر دیا تاکہ معاشرہ پھل پھول سکے۔ دنےا کا تقریباً ہر مذہب اس بات پے اتفاق کرتا ہے کہ
Religions are based on humanity.
Survival in the society is based on Peace.
اگر دنیا یہ بات سمجھ لے کہ Survival © کی بنیاد صرف معاشرے میں امن ہے تو دنےا بہت پُرسکون جگہ ہو جائے۔
جب ہم روح اور جسم کو موضوعِ بحث بناتے ہیں تو پاکیزگی Purification کی بات سامنے آتی ہے ۔ جسم کو تو دھو کر صاف کیا جاسکتا ہے مگر روح کو ایک خود احتسابی کی تحریک سے گزرنا پڑتا ہے جس کے مختلف ادوار سے گزر کر انسان ایک ایسا طرزِفکر اختیار کرتا ہے جس کی بنیادیں سچائی پر کھڑی ہوتی ہیں۔ سچ کا یہ سفر ایک فردِ واحد سے لے کر افراد تک کو اثر انداز کر سکتا ہے۔ اصلاحِ معاشرت او ر تربیت معاشرتی عمل دخل میں بہتری اور کامیابی کی دلیل ہو سکتی ہے۔
دنیا کے تقریباً ہر مذہب کے لوگ کسی نہ کسی ایسی طاقت کو مانتے ہیں جو کہ بھرپور صلاحیت کا حامل ہو یا ساری طاقتوں کی بنیاد ہو۔ کہیں اُسے خدا، کہیں اُسے بھگوان اور کہیں اُسے God یا پھر اللہ کہا جاتا ہے۔ مقصد اور یقین ایک ہے کہ و ہ طاقت انسان پر حاکمیت کا اختیار رکھتا ہے۔جب انسان کو اُس طاقت کے ہونے کا پختة یقین ہوجائے تو و ہ اپنی حیثیت کو سمجھ سکتا ہے اور سر تسلیمِ خم کرنے کے لیے تیار رہتا ہے۔ جب سر تسلیمِ خم کر لیتا ہے تو اس کے لیے کامیابی کے دریچے کھل جاتے ہیں۔
جب انسان اپنے رب کی پیروی کرنا شروع کردیتا ہے تو اس کے تمام احکام ماننے کی کوشش کرتے ہوئے رب کے واضع کیئے اصول کے مطابق زندگی گزارتا ہے۔ جب یقین پختہ ہو تو و ہ یہ بات مانتا ہے کہ اچھائی کے بدلے انعام اور برائی کے بدلے سزائے برحق ہے۔ پھر انسان رب کے غصہ سے ڈرتا ہے یا انعامات کے چھن جانے سے ڈرتا ہے۔ اس ڈر کو خوفِ خدا کہتے ہیں۔ جب اس خوف کو انسان اپنی روح میں تلاش کرلے تو وہ معاشرے کی برائیوں سے دور رہتا ہے اور معاشرے کے دیگر افراد میں خیر تقسیم کرتا ہے۔ یوں معاشرے میں روشنی کی شمع جلتی رہتی ہے۔ مستحکم ایمان و یقین کی اس کیفیت کو Divine faith کہتے ہیں۔ یہی faith قیام پاکستان کی بنیاد بنا، لاکھوں لوگو ں کی قربانی ایمان و یقین کی حفاظت کے لیے مقصد آزادی تھا۔ مقصد ایک اسلامی فلاحی ریاست تھا، جس کا حاکم اعلی اللہ ہو۔ جس میں ہر مذہب کے ماننے والوں کے لیے عبادت کی آزادی ہو۔ عدل و انصاف ہو ۔ فلاح اور عدل کی بنیادوں پر معاشرے میں حقوق تقسیم ہوں۔
جب میں نے معاشرے میں ہوش سمبھالا تب مجھے یہ پتہ چلا کہ میں مسلم ہوں، لیکن جب خود سے سوال کیا کہ میں مسلمان کیوں ہوں؟ تو جواب پایا کہ دنیا کا بہترین مذہب اسلام ہے جو ایک مکمل ضابطہئِ حیات ہے۔ میری خوش قسمتی کہ میں ایک اسلام کے نام لیوا ملکِ خداداد اسلامی جمہوری پاکستان میں پید ا ہوا۔
فلاحی اسلامی ریاست کے نظامِ زندگی کی بنیاد عدل کو ہم نے چھوڑ کر امت کی بربادی کا سامان جمع کیا ہے جو ظلم ناانصافی جھوٹ اور دھوکہ ہے جس کی وجہ سے آج امت زبو حالی کا شکار ہے۔ دنیا کی تاریخ گواہ ہے کہ جتنی قومیں برباد ہوی ¾ں اس کی بربادی کی وجہ اخلاقی قدروں کی گراوٹ اور معاشرتی کردار کی خرابی تھی۔ ہمارے معاشرے میں خوفِ خدا نہ ہونا اور بے حصی باعثِ ہلاکت او ر ظلم کی ابتداء بنی۔ معیشت حرص و حوص کی نظر ہوگئی۔ ہمارے معاشرے میں سیاسی اتار چڑھاﺅ برسوں سے جاری ہے جس کو آج تک حل نہیں کرسکے۔
انسان کو اللہ نے اشرف المخلوقات کا درجہ دیا ، انسانیت کے لیئے یہ ایک اعزاز تھا ، جینے کی آزادی دی اور ساتھ میں عقل و شعو ر عطاء کی کہ وہ اچھائی اور برائی میں فرق سمجھ سکے ۔ مگر مسلمانوں نے خود کو ایش و عشرت کی نطر کردیا اور دی ہوئی آذادی کا غلط استعمال کیا ، خدا کے نظام سے ، اس کے حکم سے بغاوت کرتے ہوئے من موجی زندگی بسر کرتے رہے ۔ خود پر ظلم کیا اور نتیجہ معاشرتی بگاڑ کی صورت میں سامنے نظر آرہا ہے۔
معاشرتی بگاڑ کی ایک بڑی وجہ وقت کی قدر نہ کرنا ہے ۔ وقت کا ضائیع کرنا ، وقت کے غلط استعمال نے معاشرے کو کاہلی اور سُستی کے دلدل میں دھکیل دیا۔ وقت کی جتنی اہمیت ہے ہم نے اتنا ہی اس کو نا اہم بنا دیا، جس معاشرے میں دفاتر ۹ کے بجائے ۱۱ بجے کھلیں، دکانیں ۲۱ بجے کھلتی ہوں ، وہ معاشرہ اپنی زندگی کے دیگر معاملات کیسے حل کرے گا؟ جس معاشرے کے لوگ وقت کی قدر نہ کریں بھلا وہ معاشر ہ کیسے ترقی کی راہ پر گامزن ہو سکتا ہے؟
(Distruption, Complexity and uncertainity ) ا نتہاے خلل، بے انتہا پیچیدگیاں ، بہت زیادہ غیر یقینی صورتحال، وقت کی ڈرامائی تبدیلی پوری دنیا میں نظر آتی ہے ، تبدیلی کے اس دور میں ہمارے معاشرے کو Focused, Productive, Inspired پیش رفت کی ضرورت ہے۔
ایک پاکستانی اسلامی فلاحی معاشرے میں مثبت پیش رفت کی ضرورت کو مدِنظر رکھتے ہوئے ہمیں اےسے مراکز کی ضرورت ہے جو عیش و عشرت اور چکاچوند روشنیوں سے بالا تر Down to earth او ر ظاہری آشائیشوں سے مُبرا ، فرقہ بندیوں اور زات پات کے فرق سے دو ر ہو۔ جہاں انفرادی و روحانی پاکیزگی کے ساتھ معاشرتی تبدیلی و کردار سازی ہو، جہاں سچائی او ر حقیقت کی روشنی ہو، او ر یہ مرکز ایک روشن مستقبل کی امید ثابت ہو ۔
زبوحالی کی طرف جاتی ایک اسلام کے نام پہ قائم ہوئی ریاست کا شہری ہوتے ہوئے میرے ذہن میں کئی سوال گردش کرتے ہیں ، جن کے کچھ جواب تو میری عقل بیاں کردیتی ہے ، مگر کئی سوالوں کے جواب کے لئیے شعور مجھے مقالہ کے زریعہ علم و تحقیق کے دریچوں کی جانب لے جا رہا ہے ۔
۱۔ کیا ترقی یافتہ ممالک کے مسلمان بہتر معاشرہ کی مثال قائم کر رہے ہیں؟ جہاں باہمی اخوت و ایثار، انفرادی اور اجتماعی نظم و ضبظ اور معاشرتی ربط بہتر قائم ہے۔ جہاں امن و استحکام ہے اور خوفِ خدا تربیت کا حصہ ہے۔ کیا ہمیں ایسے معاشرے کے قیام کی ضرورت ہے؟
۲۔ جھوٹ ، دھوکہ اور خود فریبی کی دلدل سے باہر کیسے آیا جا سکتا ہے؟
۳۔ کیا سماجی زندگی میں عدل کی کمی ظلم کی وجہ بنی ہوئی ہے؟
۴۔ برداشت، صبر، درگزر کی تعلیم کیا وقت کی ضرورت ہے؟
۵۔ مدرارس کا معاشرے میں کردار، کسی طرح بہتری کا سبب بن سکتے ہیں؟
۶۔ دنیا ۔۔مذہب سے دور ہونے کی وجہ سے کیا خود احتسابی او ر اصلاحِ معاشرت سے بھی دور ہو گئی ہے؟
۷۔ کیا عبادت معاشرے کو مثبت اثر انداز کر سکتی ہیں؟
۸۔ کیا موثر ترین طریقہ خدا کے سامنے جوابدہی کے احساس کے تحت زندگی گزارنا ہے؟
۹۔ خواتین کا عباد ت گاہ سے کتنا تعلق ہو سکتا ہے؟
۰۱۔ مذہبی پریکٹس سے war violence اور depression میں کمی آ سکتی ہے؟
۱۱۔ کیا مذہب کی اصل حقیقت سے دوری اور نظامِ زندگی کے اصولوں سے بغاوت ، طرزِ معاشرت میں disbalance کی وجہ ہے؟
۲۱۔ کیا معاشرتی مسائل کے حل کے لئیے عبادت گاہیں کردا ر ادا کرسکتی ہیں؟
۳۱۔ امت کے اتحاد کے لیے عبادت گاہ کوئی کردار ادا کر سکتی ہے؟
۴۱۔ شادی بیاہ کو عبادت گاہ سے جوڑ دیا جائے تو کیا معاشرہ میں سادگی برقرار رکھ سکیں گے اور غیر ضروری بوجھ کو کم کیا جا سکتا ہے؟
۵۱۔ Recreational Activity کو عبادت گاہ سے منسلک کرنے سے نوجوانوں کو عبادت گاہ کی جانب رغبت ہو سکے گی؟
۶۱۔ کیا عبادت ا ور اس کی Space کی اہمیت اور تعلق کو سمجھنے سے ہم اجتماعیت کی طرف آسکتے ہیں؟
۷۱۔ کیا عبادت ا ور اس کی Space کا آپسی تعلق کوئی تبدیلی لا سکتا ہے؟
۸۱۔ چکاچوند روشن عبادت گاہیں یا پھر سادہ اور سنٹرلایزڈ عبادت گاہیں اجتماعیت اور یکجہتی ملت ، بکھرتی طرزِ معاشرت کو سہارا دے سکتی ہے؟ ےا اجتماعیت کے لئے مزید Social Spaces شامل کرنے کی ضرورت ہے؟
۹۱۔ عبادات کو کس طرح social responsive بنایا جائے؟ یا social response کو عبادات کی طرف Attract کروایا جائے؟
۰۲۔ انفرادی و اجتماعی activities معاشرے پر اثر انداز ہو سکتی ہے؟
